Applications Engineer/Engineering Technician
Our client is expanding its Engineering opportunities and is seeking an Engineering Technician/Applications Engineer with solid foundations and understanding of mechanical components and mechanical power transmission. Job duties will include being involved with estimating new inquiries, reverse engineering, troubleshooting production issues, project involvement and manufacturing engineering.
Ideal candidates are those that are self-starters, driven, assertive, show leadership potential, have strong communication skills and have experience working in a team environment.
Background should include at least a Degree from a 2 Year Trade School or College, preferably in a field of Engineering. Must be computer literate in Microsoft Office and have experience with 3D solid modeling and CAD (direct experience with Solidworks is a plus). Prior work experience preferred but not required.
This is a temporary-to-hire position offering a minimum of 40 hours per week within a technologically oriented company.
