Outpatient Physical Therapist
Ideal candidate would have 3 or more years of experience in Outpatient physical therapy with experience in both land and aquatic therapy. Seeking a therapist who has earned a specialty certification in manual therapy, aquatics, orthopedics or lymphedema or who is significantly progressing towards earning a certification. Predominately this is an outpatient position but the therapist would be expected to assist in acute on and as needed basis for holiday and vacation coverage. Typical work schedule would be M - F 9am - 5:
30pm.
Experience:
New graduates accepted, licensure in state of Virginia is required. Temp license not allowed per department protocol.

Summary:
Responsible for performing physical therapy evaluations developing and implementing physical therapy treatment plans of care and performing physical therapy discharges. May be required to work in a variety of settings including OP, Acute and Home Health. Will need to provide both land and aquatic therapy if working in the OP environment. Responsible for staying current on all patient documentation, following evidenced based protocols, verifying insurance authorization have been obtained prior to services being delivered and consistently utilizing excellent customer service skills.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
