INSPECTOR and SALES TECHNICIAN -- Restaurant and Grocery Stores
Join our team of professionalsservicing Restaurants and Grocery Stores with their basic maintenance needs specifically related to refrigeration gaskets and door hardware.
No experience is necessary with our line of products and services. Once hired, you will be paid to train alongside one of our expert trainers.
Included in this position's job description would be
Inspecting food service facilities (Restaurants, Grocery stores, etc.) for refrigeration gasket and hardware needs
Accurately writing and calculating quotes for customers
Effectively communicating with customers
Managing existing accounts, while developing new accounts.
Occasionally installing, repairing and/or adjusting refrigerator and freezer door gaskets, refrigeration doors, hinges, latches, etc.
Our facility is near the Burbank airport. Employees start and end each day at our facility.
Employees drive company vehicles to and from jobsites throughout So. Cal.
Applicants should
be able to identify proper replacement items from samples and catalogs
be technically adept
have a strong attention to detail
be a problem solver and a quick learner
have the ability to communicate effectively
be friendly, outgoing, and personable
be clear and articulate while speaking with customers and prospects
be good at basic mathematics (fractions, simple calculations, totaling $ line items)
be competent with a measuring tape
be self-reliant and self-motivated
be handy, and be familiar with basic hand tools and power tools
have reliable transportation (to and from work, only)
have a valid driver's license and a good driving record
Experience working in Restaurant(s), Grocery Store(s) or as a Handy Man very helpful.
Good command of the English language is required. Bilingual (Spanish) helpful but not necessary.
This is a Full-time position, with typical hours Monday through Friday during the day.
After a thorough training period, compensation of hourly
bonuses
profit sharing would typically equate to $12-$15/hour.
Compensations equivalent to $15-$20/hour are typical after a probationary time period.
