Industrial Engineer

Essential Job Functions:
Assess current state and develop/implement plans for enhancing data information flow throughout the organization including material flow, inventory accuracy, data collection from production equipment, coordination between casting and machining operations, etc.
Studies functional statements, organization charts, and project information to determine functions and responsibilities of workers and work units and to identify areas of duplication
Establishes work measurement programs and analyzes work samples to develop standards for labor utilization
Analyzes work force utilization, facility layout, and operational data such as production costs, process flow charts, and production schedules, to determine efficient utilization of workers and equipment.
Recommends methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities such as restructuring job duties, reorganizing work flow, relocating work stations and equipment, and purchase of equipment
Confers with management and engineering staff to implement plans and recommendations
Assess equipment reliability and maintainability and propose solutions to existing and/or potential problem areas
Follow all Safety policies and procedures
Follow all TS16949 and ISO procedures
Other functions as determined within scope of position and training
Requirements:
Education and
Experience: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related area of study and 5-15 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Other Training: Lean Manufacturing, Ergonomics, Blue print reading, Measurement tools, SPC, Problem Solving TechniquesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
