Your Role:
The Full Charge Bookkeeper will report directly to the Controller of the organization and will work directly with an outside accounting firm on a monthly basis
Assist with AP on an as needed basis
Assist with miscellaneous reports for management as needed
Has 2 direct reports - payroll and AP clerk
This position is heavy on the AR side
Will bill customers for monthly receivables
Follow up with all customers to ensure invoices are received and processed for payment
Apply all payments received from customers into QuickBooks Enterprise
Create reports on a needed basis from QuickBooks for different job sites
Send request reports to bank
Will be responsible for month end close
Will oversee accounting department
Reconciliation of bank account
Reconciliation of Amex account
Will meet with CPA monthly
Work in QuickBooks Enterprise
Responsible for journal entries such as payroll breakdown, overhead allocations, depreciation, and end of the quarter
Pay sales taxes on a quarterly basis
Background Profile:
High School diploma
