Duties:
Develop algorithms, scripts, tools and pipelines for comparative analysis and visualization of genomic and phenotypic data for pathogen identification and profiling. Work cross functionally with agile teams to define and document software specifications for products. Integrate software specifications and devise actionable tasks in the context of scientific requirements. Create, mature and integrate analytical tools/pipelines into user accessible tools/interfaces. Test the tools and iterate the functionality and usability. Advise software developers on scientific or bioinformatics concepts. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
Requirements:
Employer will accept Masters degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or related technical field and 2 years of work experience in job offered or 2 years of work experience in a bioinformatics-related occupation.
Experience must include: 1) Examining pathogenic organisms and their genomes; 2) Analysis and interpretation of next generation sequencing data ; 3) Software development and maintenance in Java, C# and Perl; 4) Database architecture, development, maintenance and optimization for integrated biological datasets.
Experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
