Hours: Monday- Friday 8am-5pm
The Customer Billing Specialist owns assigned customer billing accounts so that all aspects of outstanding balances and future credit worthiness are proactively managed; expedites account adjustments and customer payments; researches and analyzes customer claims and determines refund eligibility; interacts and follows up with customers on sensitive collections issues.

Responsibilities:
o Perform ten day follow up calls on assigned accounts
o Perform collection calls on accounts in conformance with account guidelines
o Perform adjustments, as required on assigned accounts in compliance with adjustment policy
o Properly use tools to expedite dispute resolution on assigned accounts
o Prepare refund documentation as required
o Perform bill reprints upon guest request
o Respond promptly to inbound customer and hotel communications via email and voice mail
o Perform area administrative duties as required
o Process AR statements, follow-up letters, and dunning letters
o Aid in the identification of collection targets
o Perform receivable inquiries
o Properly use business process software to support collection duties
o Research and analyze billing and collections questions and disputes
o Comply with SSC standards (Core Competencies and Shared Values) and GTOs
o Plan and organize work within a defined set of duties
Requirements:
o Stability Ability to build relationships
o Decision making
o Experience with phone work such as collections / csc / sales
o Use of Microsoft office & ability to typeEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
