Maintenance Helper

Manufacturing Company in Grand Prairie is hiring a Maintenance Helper. This is a temp-to-perm position and starts immediately. The shift starts at 6am, and go on for 16 hours a day, Monday through Sunday and pays $15/hr

POSITION OVERVIEW
Assist in the repairs and maintenance of machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
Repairs or replaces defective parts.
Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.
Lubricates and cleans parts.
Starts devices to test their performance.
Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
Initiates purchase order for parts and machines.
Repairs electrical equipment.
Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school education preferred and/or previous factory experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Hours:
Starts at 6am, and can go for 16 hours, 7 days a week.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
