Dublin, VA company looking for immediate position of Warehouse and Inventory Clerk
Receives all inventoried materials, with the responsibility to inspect cartons, boxes and containers for damage and to efficiently check items received against receiving records. Responsible for the labeling and distribution o f materials in accordance with a FIFO program. maintains the raw materials inventory.
Duties and Responsibilities
Examine contents with visual aides, records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy of incoming shipments.
Reports any problems such as damages and shortages to manager/supervisors.
Organize records/document for submission to office.
Communicate all incoming shipments to appropriate supervisors/managers, contact appropriate personnel at other sites for outgoing/transfer materials
Maintains receiving area and warehouse in clean and orderly fashion including floors and racks.
Assists in taking inventories
Maintains the raw materials inventory in a clean and orderly fashion
Communicates with purchasing regarding vendor issues.
Communicates with purchasing regarding low inventory items.
performs cycle counts in accordance with a scheduled count timeline.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Basic math skills
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to drive a forklift
Extreme accuracy in maintenance of receiving records, materials, and in preparing and submitting documents/reports.
1-2 years' of experience and/or training
Must be able to lift and move up to 25 lbs. with occasionally up to 50 lbs.
EXCELLENT ATTENDANCE IS A MUST!!Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
