General Laborer

Summary:
Fortune 500 food manufacturing company is looking for a General Laborer to perform tasks related to production and process finished goods.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS AND
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to follow direction & perform repetitive production activities.
- All training and instructions typically given on the job.
- Proficiency is attained in a short time on the job.
- Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- Ability to effectively communicate in one-on-one and in group situations.
- Ability to pass forklift training test.
- Ability to work on feet for prolonged periods of time in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to follow instruction.
- Knowledge and compliance of all safety guidelines.
- Knowledge of basic math, counting, etc.
- May occasionally use company computer equipment & systems.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND SCOPE OF
Responsibilities:
- Sweep all spills on the regulatory inspection map, (packing area needs to be spotless).
- Cover the dumpsters with a tarp.
- Keep all spills and garbage cleaned up around the dumpster.
- Keep all doors shut, including bulk load out, bulk receiving and all interior and exit doors.
- Sweep all rat runs in packing and warehouse.
- Pull out empty bags and bagged ingredients from location to sweep behind.
WORKING SCHEDULE & PAY RANGE:
7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday-Friday
Pay $10.50 per hourEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
