Information Systems Supervisor (Manufacturing Site)

Our client is a leading manufacturer of Medical Devices, seeking an Information Systems (IS) Supervisor for their modern manufacturing facility located in the NW Chicago suburbs. The Information Systems (IS) Supervisor will support a plant of approximately 400 employees, 100 computers, and is responsible for the design, procurement, installation and maintenance of computer systems. This includes support of all computer system needs for the plant, including printers, labeling equipment, etc. The Information Systems (IS) Supervisor will manage the daily activities at the sit, including maintenance of the Local Area Network, phone systems, software validations, and all IS approved software. The Information Systems (IS) Supervisor will manage projects from concept to completion. This position will supervise one employee.
Responsibilities:
Maintains security of all systems and applications, and ensures Sabanes-Oxley compliance from an IS perspective
Supervises Systems Analyst
Performs needed operational maintenance and planning efforts for the systems, including AS400, LAN and PC Hardware, along with time and attendance systems
Responsible for operation and maintenance of the telephone/voice mail systems
Maintains documentation library of all hardware, software and processes
Ensures compliance with software licensing agreements
Prepares and monitors budgets for capital projects
Provides all IS related functions regarding the BPCS month/year-end closing
Works closely with the users to determine business needs and improve processes
Takes a hands-on approach and is involved in smooth IS operations for manufacturing
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred, will consider experience in lieu of degree
5 or more years of experience in a manufacturing facility in an Information Systems role a must
3 years in a leadership/supervisory position
Experience with AS400 strongly preferred
Prefer proficiency in MS Windows, Active Directory, Advanced Network Operating Systems, BPCS, Kronos
Working knowledge of Visual Basic, MS Exchange, MS Office, AS 400 Query, SQL, and Wifi network experience
Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements preferred as well as knowledge of software validations preferred
Hands-on person who will get actively involved on the manufacturing floor
Ability to make presentations to groups and communicate technical information effectivelyEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
