Develop and champion transformational and innovative change for multiple integrated strategies across the business by creating a compelling vision and strategy. Manage a portion of the department budget and profit and loss (P&L) by forecasting resource needs and expenses for personnel, travel, and other variable items. Lead team by creating a compelling vision. Develop organizational talent by interviewing, hiring, and developing new associates, coaching associates, peers, and customers and providing developmental opportunities. Provide overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs, developing, communicating, building support for, and implementing business strategies, plans, and practices, analyzing costs and forecasts and incorporating them into business plans, determining and supporting resource requirements, evaluating operational processes, measuring outcomes to ensure desired results, identifying and capitalizing on improvement opportunities. Develop and implement strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce by diagnosing capability gaps. Develop and leverage internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals by sponsoring and leading key community outreach and involvement initiatives. Support Logistics 3YP process by ensuring appropriate DC designs/technology, systems, capacity and productivity. Lead, facilitate and participate in cross functional projects that leverage global logistics resources (including lead market experts) to drive expense reduction projects that improve the Logistics P&L and/or improve store service.
Requirements
7 years experience in engineering, mathematics, computer science, supply chain, arts or related field OR 9 years experience in engineering, mathematics, computer science, supply chain, arts or related field and 10 years experience developing operations strategy and overseeing project implementations. 5 years supervisory experience.
Education
Doctorate degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Arts or related field or Masters degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Arts or related field and Bachelor degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Arts or related field.
