Experienced Accountant

NetXperts is seeking an accounting professional to join our Accounting Team. Successful candidates will work approximately 30 hours per week, providing senior level accounting support to our CFO.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the entire month-end close process.
Payroll - full cycle processing of weekly and bi-monthly payroll; must also have advanced knowledge of Prevailing Wage and Certified Payroll requirements.
Must possess a strong understanding of GAAP
Experience in preparation, participating and contributing to annual audits and reviews.
Collections experience
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other business degree.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of accounting experience.
CPA and added plus
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong computer skills-particularly Excel
Experience with General Leger Systems, Quickbooks knowledge a plus
Knowledge using Millennium payroll system required

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
