Electrical Engineer
Automotive tier 1 supplier is seeking an Electrical Engineer to keep the electrical production equipment operating safely and efficiently. This position is within their Plant Engineering Department and will perform the following duties:
Ensure proper troubleshooting, repair, and maintain electrical systems on production equipment
Support Engineering Departments on implementation of machine modifications, installation, and start-up of new equipment.
Oversee the installation of electrical runs for new or existing equipment.
Update and maintain control systems software and network utilities
Management of contractors during preventative maintenance and installation of equipment pertaining to electrical installation.
Maintain all electrical drawings.
Develop and maintain IWI's.
Any other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 5 years hands on experience in industrial controls systems.
Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, machine wiring, and industrial electrical systems.
Advanced PLC programming skillsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
