Volunteer Coordinator / Life Enrichment
At Balfour Retirement Community, we work in a hospitality focused environment providing a gold level standard of service to our residents living our Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing communities.
This is an exciting opportunity for a key individual to oversee the volunteer program at this community. The volunteer coordinator maintains the volunteer data base and creates ideal relationships that are rewarding and nurturing for volunteers and residents. This position would be for a designated six (6) hours per week; however, ideally additional hours can be picked up as part of our Life Enrichment Coordinator Flex Pool. Responsibilities also include maintaining prequalification records such as applications, background checks and coordinating new volunteer orientation. In addition, this person is responsible for maintianing pet/animal vaccination records for resident and staff pets as well as volunteer animals. Additionally, the Volunteer Coordinator would ideally be a part of the Life Enrichment Coordinator Flex Pool providing support for life enrichment activities and events on an on call or as needed basis.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
