Manager
Career Connections is looking for a Manager for a store in Athens, Ohio, specializing in mechanical tools and accessories. Will be responsible for overall operation of the store, including inventory, profit and loss, and expense control. Will be responsible for parts purchasing, managing accounts receivable, employee supervision, and sales counter coverage.
This is a direct-hire, full-time position hiring as soon as possible. The general schedule will be 7 a.m - 5 p.m., Monday - Friday, and occasionally 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. on Saturdays. The salary will be commensurate with experience but competitive, and this employer offers an excellent healthcare and vacation package.
To qualify for this position, experience in retail management is required, including staff supervision, billing/collecting, and expense management. Must be able to quickly make decisions independent of direct supervision, prioritize efficiently, and be able to multitask effectively. Must also possess solid mechanical aptitude. Must be comfortable with computers, and prior experience with business software is strongly preferred.
