Maintenance Crew Lead
SUMMARY
A local food manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Maintenance Lead to join their team!
RESPONSIBILITLIES
Assist in supervision of maintenance stakeholders.
Develop a highly engaged, empowered and effective maintenance team.
Accountable for maintenance, utilities, equipment repair and sanitation requirements.
Troubleshoot causes of equipment problems and oversees coordination of proactive and reactive activities on a daily basis.
Implement preventative maintenance programs.
Coordinate repairs and supply/parts purchasing through communication with Maintenance Planner and Supervisor.
Provide leadership in areas of customer focus, continuous improvement, food safety and personal safety.
Support a zero injury culture and drive continuous improvement to safety programs.
Ensure contractors/employees comply with all relevant safety requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
High school or GED equivalent
5 years of industrial maintenance experience
Positive attitude and problem solving mentality
Strong mechanical aptitude
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
2 years leadership/supervision
Boiler operation
Ability to utilize electrical prints and tools
Computer literacy and eagerness to learn SAP/PPE systems
Maintenance experience in a food processing environment
Understanding of PLC operated equipment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
