Automation Specialist
Eastern Industrial Automation, Inc., an International Distributor of bearings, power transmissions, engineering services, motion control products and services is seeking an experienced 'Automation' Specialist to support our existing sales team and diverse customer base.
Eastern Industrial Automation, Inc. was founded in 1963 and has 12 sales offices throughout New England and an office in Shanghai, China.
This position requires a team oriented individual with strong hands-on application experience which will support an experienced direct sales staff throughout Northern Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine.
The Specialists responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Technical Product support:
PLC, Servos, Steppers, Variable Frequency Drives, Precision Gear Heads, Linear Actuators, Sensors, Linear Rails and Slides
Programming, designing, and integration of our automation products into customer applications
Supporting an existing sales staff with customer applications control system design
Successful Candidate skills:
Candidates must have strong multitasking, organizational, and project management skills
PLC and Motion Controllers application and programming skills experience with CodeSys, a plus
Technical troubleshooting skills
Local travel within the New England Marketplace area to include Northern MA,NH and ME
The desired candidate must be independent, flexible and a self-starter. Good interpersonal and communication skills are required. Knowledge of distributor sales would be seen as a plus.
