The Senior Tax Analyst will be familiar with the principals of Federal and US state and local income taxation and sales & use taxation.
The position requires excellent technology skills and routine interaction with accounting personnel so as to assist with all matters regarding income and sales and use tax (audits, research, compliance).
Specific Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
Prioritize all tax correspondence and work with managers for appropriate response Gather data relevant to tax audits Execute estimated tax payments Monitor tax balance sheet accounts Assist with preparation of tax provision Assist with preparation and review of federal & state income/franchise tax returns, estimated quarterly payments, and sales & use tax returns Assist with U.
S.
reporting requirements for Non-US operations (Forms 5471) Assist with SOX compliance Assist in special projects including tax research and analyzing financial information such as balance sheets and income statementsQualifications BA/BS Accounting or Finance Not less than 3 years of tax experience preferably with public accounting firm Tax return and/or tax provision experience required Strong interpersonal and written communication skills Demonstrate ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability to effectively meet deadlines Excellent Excel skills and Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications #LI-LS1.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
