Kingston Care Center (Rehab) in Sylvania has an exciting opportunity for a RN, who would is already in management or would like to take their career to the next step! We are currently accepting applications for Assistant Director of Nursing / House Supervisors. This position is for supporting the evening staff. A successful applicant will be able to supervise nursing assistants and staff nurses and will provide and coordinate resident care in compliance with facility policies and procedures. Clinical Directors are group leaders and provide day to day supervision, training and support to direct care providers. Qualified applicants will at a minimum possess:
1. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current license as an RN in good standing in Ohio.
2. One or more years experience in a skilled nursing facility, preferably in a supervisory role.
3. Must be organized, self-directed and highly motivated with strong leadership skills.
4. Must possess a positive attitude towards the elderly.
5. Must be able to lift 50 pounds occasionally, and occasionally bear weight of 100 pounds or more. Requires standing, walking, bending, stooping, pulling, stretching, turning, grasping and reaching and some lifting. Visual acuity to determine the accuracy, thoroughness and quality of work assigned and completed. Aural acuity to receive detailed information through oral communication, often from persons with speech impairment. Must be able to express or exchange ideas by means of spoken word, often with residents with hearing impairments.
6. Must be able to speak, read and understand English, follow written and verbal directions and be able to write legibly.
7. Must have computer skills sufficient enough to enter and retrieve information from a computerized resident charting program.
