Job Description:
This position will assist in leading the management and control of configurations and baselines, ensuring complete traceability of changes through a documented change management process. Tasks include configuration identification, configuration control, configuration status accounting, data management, product release and delivery, and configuration audits. Additional tasks include facilitating multiple Configuration Change Control Boards and providing CM assessments and inputs to engineering change requests, developing, maintaining or improving CM processes, and interfacing with all Engineering disciplines, Program Management, and the Customer. The candidate must be a flexible team player with the ability to prioritize and juggle multiple concurrent tasks in a diverse environment.
Required Skills:
Experience working in a technical environment interfacing with all engineering disciplines and able to work well in a team environment and actively assist or provide direction as needed.
Ability to guide individuals to accomplish change management steps in a timely manner.
Conduct briefings and technical meetings for internal and external representatives.
Highly organized, detail oriented and able to implement strict process for change control.
Self-starter - proactive in determining goals, objectives, and pursuing necessary course of action.
Requires U.S. citizenship.
Desired Skills:
Must be organized and able to prioritize task efforts.
Experience working within a team environment as well as working independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Certifications from either NDIA or CMII in Configuration Management
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
