Division Controller


The Division Controller leads and directs the fiscal functions of the division to maximize return on assets and profitability. He/she establishes financial policies, procedures, controls and reporting systems. The Division Controller ensures legal and regulatory compliance for all accounting and financial reporting functions. He/She provides leadership to the accounting, finance and risk management functions. They The Division Controller also partners with other division leaders and Corporate Finance on strategic and tactical matters as they relate to budget management, cost benefit analysis, capital appropriation, forecasting needs and the securing of new business.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
o Work closely with the Division staff to prepare and successfully execute the Annual Operating Plan, Budgets and growth plan.
o Participates as a strategic partner, in the development the division strategy, objectives and plans for the division.
o Plans, develops, organizes, directs and evaluates financial and operational performance.
o Ensures all reporting requirements are completed accurately, on time and provides appropriate actionable analysis.
o Leads 80/20 activities aimed at increasing profitability and reducing cost. Champions cost improvement and lean activities throughout the organization.
o Monitors customer margins and profitability, provides actionable insights to help improve
o Participate in developing new business, assist in identifying costs, funding, drafting of prospective budgets, and determining cost effectiveness of prospective service delivery.
o Oversees cost management activities and applies 80/20 techniques to optimize and reduce cost.
o Develops and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the organization.
o Ensures compliance to all federal, state and local laws. Advises management on actions and potential risks.
o Analyses key financial date, reports and statements and creates / executes plans that improve overall financial performance in areas such as cash flow, ROA, DSO/DPO,
o Oversee the maintenance of the inventory of all fixed assets, including plant, equipment, & inventory. Ensure all information is accurate and up to date
o Develops and drives a disciplined approach in Capital Acquisitions and Execution.
o Foster an engaged workforce and an environment where all employees are committed to Continuous Improvement.

Required Qualifications
o Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
o Ten years hands-on accounting managerial experience required, with time in a manufacturing operation
o Extensive knowledge of cost accounting.
o An excellent team player with strong people skills; able to build strategic working relationships at all levels of the organization and external to the organization
o Effective communication skills, including verbal (logical and organized), written, listening and presentation

Preferred Qualifications
o MBA or Master's degree In Finance, Accounting or a related field
o Current CPA Certification desirable.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
