Field Technician
This position as a Field Technician supports the drilling crew in the drilling operation.
The Field Technician will move, and set up drilling rigs and related equipment to drill holes.
This position requires travel and the ability to work with a small crew of three or four.
This position is the 3rd or 4th man on the crew.
Position may require extended working shifts to include working 10 days on and 4 days off, night shifts, weekends and holidays.
Work is outdoors in all weather conditions.
The work is generally physically demanding.
Essential Functions:
o Able to perform physical labor in all weather conditions o Ability to wear required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, metatarsal boots, etc.
) o Mechanical ability to do minor repairs o Maintain equipment o Adhere to safety policies and procedures o Study for Driller license or CEU's o CDL Class A or B license or ability to obtain within 90 days o Perform physical labor, shoveling, drilling debris, and transport materials using ergonomically correct lifting techniques o Ability to travel o May be required to perform other related duties as assigned o High School Diploma or GED o 40 hour Hazwoper or 8 hour refresher o Experience in construction or drilling o Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the day o Must pass pre-employment drug screening o Must pass criminal background check Trillium provides contract to hire, project staffing and direct placement to companies in the industrial cleaning and environmental industries.
Providing experienced and trained personnel for industrial cleaning, power plant, steel mill and paper mill shutdowns, oil and gas refinery turnarounds, emergency response, disaster clean up, and scheduled plant maintenance is what we do!
