The Food Service Associate is responsible for providing quick and efficient service by greeting customers, providing quick and efficient service and maintaining a clean and inviting environment in the food service area. Responsibilities include preparing and serving food items by adhering to all quality standards, formulas and procedures outlined in training documents, suggestive selling, and maintaining food safety and sanitation standards.

Maintain a neat personal appearance in accordance with Company Uniform and Personal Appearance Policy.
Follow Company policy and procedure and all laws governing national health and food safety codes. Observe and report any safety hazards.
Prepare and serve food that adheres to all quality standards, formulas and procedures.
Provide excellent customer service by consistently greeting and thanking customers while demonstrating the commitment to speed of service.
Build sales by understanding food offerings and suggestive sell based on customer buying habits.
Maintain all foodservice areas by keeping fresh product available for customers and consistently sanitize all areas.
Cleaning food display windows, floors, shelving, counters, utensils and deli equipment and ensure they remain clean and sanitized at all times
Ensure that all local and national health and food safety codes are maintained and company safety and security policies are followed. Observes and reports any safety hazards.
Build positive work relationships with customers, vendors, associates, and managers.
Follow company policies and procedures to get things done the right way.
Prepare and serve food and adheres to all quality standards, formulas and procedures as outlined by recipe guidelines and daily menu items.
Where a food service branding program exists, uphold food service operation standard as outlined by operation manual.
Qualifications
One year's experience as a food service worker or equivalent in culinary training preferred but not required. Safety Sani or Serv Safe certification desired.
Must be able to work with a variety of kitchen and service equipment including charbroilers, steam jacket kettles, pressure steamers, ovens, broilers, woks, grills, slicers, choppers, mixers, blenders, frozen dessert machines, various hot and cold beverage dispensers, coffee brewers, espresso/cappuccino machines, flash freezer, steamer/oven, card reader, cash register and various hand tools. Knowledge of State Health Department rules and regulations.
Availability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs
Education and
Experience:
Some High School or GED required. Previous customer service experience desired.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and to speak effectively before customers and employees.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Physical Demands
Ability to consistently lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand and work on your feet for long periods of time.
Occasionally required to climb or balance on a ladder and/or stool, kneel or crouch when stocking and cleaning shelves.
Work in cold box and/or freezer for extended periods of time in temperatures around or below freezing. Stack, lift, move, and empty filled crates.
Ability to work safely with equipment that can create and hold very high temperatures using appropriate protective equipment
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
