This role serves as an active, strategic member of the contract team. The Scrum Master will act as the key organizing entity for the service team, acting as the owner of the process and artifacts with focus on leading teams through continuous improvement. The Candidate will keep the engineering teams focused on their sprint goals while staying connected to the needs of the application and operation teams consuming the services offered by the platform. The candidate will facilitate discussion of multiple approaches and drive resolution across the organizations.
Contract position 3-4 months, salary negotiable
Industry: Healthcare 8am-5pm
Location Addison, TX
Key Responsibilities
Removes any impediments that obstruct a teams pursuit of its sprint goals
Leads sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews across cross functional application, operation and engineering virtual teams
Develop and maintain relevant metrics that help the team see how they are doing, communicate across organization
Responsible for highlighting and resolving dependencies wherever they are in the organization
Coach and mentor team members, application and operation teams to educate and build the capacity to operate in an agile manner
Basic Qualification
4-7 years of project experience (development, project management, etc.)
Strong knowledge of relevant agile metrics and charts
Experience applying a wide variety of well documented patterns and techniques
Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Track record of continued and recent education in Scrum, including training, conferences, user groups
Excellent communication and mentoring skills
Experience with working on a distributed development team

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
