NCRA has an exciting opportunity at our Oil Refinery facility in McPherson, Kansas. We are looking for a Environmental Engineer II to maintain corporate-wide environmental programs, policies, procedures, and documentation. You must be a detail-oriented, results-driven individual with a commitment to quality, accuracy and the ability to organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work in both a team environment and on self-directed tasks are necessary.

You will:
Determine data collection methods to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
Assure work is in compliance with the applicable Environmental regulations.
Compile data, make detailed calculations and perform QA/QC once report(s) is prepared to meet government requirements.
Identify and analyze sources of pollution to determine their effects.
Collect data derived from pollution emission measurements, atmospheric monitoring, meteorological and mineralogical information, and air, soil or water samples.
Prepare graphs, charts, and statistical models from collected data.
Apply principles of engineering to solve environmental problems
Monitor refining processes to advise workers of changes needed to maintain environmental compliance.
Analyze data to assess pollution problems, establish standards, and develop approaches for control of pollution.
Coordinate and/or support projects involving environmental analysis.
Support refinery operations with environmental guidance on day to day basis.
Oversee and direct contractors concerning project work scope, development, execution, completion of reports and all documents to bring the project to closure.
Participate in on-call rotation and carry a company-issued cell phone for response to company-related environmental questions, guidance, and/or emergency response.
Manage the budget for work area.
Stay current with applicable Environmental regulations.
Does have indirect supervisory responsibilities of the Environmental Technicians for specific projects. Position has supervisory responsibilities for contractors as assigned.
Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
Basic
Qualifications: (required)
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related engineering field from an ABET accredited four-year college or university
Knowledge/working understanding of RCRA regulations including closure and post closure activities, corrective action, and waste management.
Three (3) years of environmental experience and/or training/education
Live within 35 miles of the refinery, due to responsibility in emergency response
Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Must be able to wear personal protective equipment, including respirators.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
