Develop and maintain accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely work. Research and resolve clients accounting issues. Supervise and train staff accountants. Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations for proper classification and valuation. Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for high net worth clients. Keep firms professional library updated. Apply FASB Pronouncements, GAAP and GAAS Standards to professional engagements.
Review and approve corporate, partnership, organization, and individual income tax returns. Review and approve sales tax and personal property tax returns. Prepare income tax returns for exempt organizations and high net worth individuals. Supervise payroll tax return preparations. Troubleshoot tax issues.
For employer, Neeka Accountancy Corporation: approve and pay accounts payable; reconcile accounts receivable; conduct month-end closing, including bank reconciliation and credit card reconciliation; prepare payrolls; post journal entries and monthly financial statements; and assist in performing audits.
Special Skills
Must have passed all sections of the Uniform Certified Public Accountant Examinations conducted by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
Requires a Master's Degree in Accounting
