This position requires a person who will interact with clients, customers, couriers, drivers and internal staff via telephone and email. We are offering a challenging career with an established Logistics company. Successful candidates will possess excellent administrative and dispatching skills and a desire to work in a fast paced / team oriented environment.
Responsibilities
Schedule and dispatch vehicles to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, or needs, using mobile or land line phones.
Arrange for necessary repairs in order to restore service and schedules.
Relay work orders, messages, and information to or from work crews, mobile or land line phones.
Confer with customers or supervising personnel in order to address questions, problems, and requests for pick ups or deliveries.
Prepare daily work and run schedules.
Receive or prepare work orders.
Oversee all communications with drivers.
Monitor personnel and/or equipment locations and utilizationEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
