Teach high school chemistry classes including college preparatory chemistry (four sections) and advanced placement chemistry (two sections). Detailed job duties include: Direct and evaluate student learning experiences; Provide guidance to students to promote education development and welfare; Provide care and protection of school property; Supervise student activity on school property; Plan and coordinate the instructional program in accordance with the current curricula; Instruct students using various teaching methods such as lecture and demonstration; Use audiovisual aids and other materials to supplement presentations; Assign lessons and correct homework; Administer tests to evaluate pupils progress, record results, and issue reports to inform parents of progress; Maintain accurate student attendance records; Maintain discipline in classroom; Maintain open lines of communications with students, staff and parents; Participate in faculty and professional meetings, educational conferences, teacher training workshops/professional development activities; Participate in co-curricular activities; Maintain current lesson plans. Minimum job requirements; Bachelors degree in Education, Chemistry or related field and at least two years of experience. Must have a valid Maryland teaching certificate in Chemistry grades 7-12. Must demonstrate knowledge of curriculum, instruction, staff development and the assessment process. Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and email.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
