Product Design Manager
Summary:
The Project Engineer will ensure production of profitable products desired by customers.
Responsibilities:
Oversee design, development, and introduction of new products and production support for existing products and product line enhancements
Lead project teams for designated projects; provide technical direction to other staff
Ensure business, profit, product, and functionality performance to specifications
Lead and conduct cost reduction activities to determine material, labor, and overhead costs for new products and product line enhancements
Investigate and analyze competitive products to determine product performance, cost, and packaging methods
Infrequently travel as needed throughout the United States and Canada
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering with 6 years of experience in an engineering role required
Master's degree in engineer with at least 4 years of experience in an engineering role preferred
2 years of experience working with product line responsibility, including design and project engineering, highly preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of CAD design systems required; ProE experience preferred
Must be able to work in the United States on a continual basis without sponsorship
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
