The Project Manager will be responsible for managing production customer programming and correspondence as well as providing team leadership.

Responsibilities:
Coordinates all aspects of a customer's project including tool builds, qualification, and production.
Lead project team/s and facilitate the communication and interaction amongst functional representatives.
Employees assigned to this position will provide top level customer service, resolve all Project issues, and use as a basis to secure current and future Projects for the company.
Defines customer requirements.
Coordinates transfer of tool to manufacturing location.
Tracks and files all paperwork along with customer correspondence.
Reports on process and progression of project.
Investigates and resolves engineering problems utilizing available resources in all aspects of the project, including tooling, processing, part qualification, cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, sales, quoting, billing, quality control, product design, improvement recommendations, and general project organization and management.
Ensures that the right product is developed to meet or exceed the company's quality standard.
Read engineering drawings and use necessary measuring devices.
Track project against its schedule, budget and phase review objectives, and communicates these to management on a regular basis.
Develops and implements recovery plans for off-schedule and unanticipated events.
Provides recommendations for new processes and leads in the effort to improve existing processes, where needed, in order to improve quality or on-time delivery.
Provides/proposes strategies to management.

A qualified candidate would fulfill these requirements:
Completion of an accredited two-year technical college program, in a related field of study, a four-year university program, in a related field of study, and 2-4 years' experience, or accrued on-the-job training and experience.
Strong tooling and plastics background, front line experience driving large projects, and excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
Knowledge in processing, toolmaking, validation, quality systems and operations is preferred.
Experience in injection molding carrying a project from inception through the sampling stage and qualification up to production.
Ability to read engineering drawings and use necessary measuring devices.

Salary - $80,000-$90,000
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
