Assistant Controller

Specific Responsibilities of the Position:
oo Assists in the monthly financial closings
o Oversee financial disbursements, and bank reconciliation for Arbre Farms and Willow Cold Storage
o Assists with product cost accounting
o Reviews daily productivity and efficiency reports and provides analysis opportunities.
o Analyzes production reports vs financial reports in the system; provides recommendations based off of analysis
o Assists in budget and projections.
o Direct and review the accounting entries and entity distribution, including any accounting issues and coordination with the appropriate personnel.
o Perform analysis as needed to support the business or accounting functions
o May provide supervision to other accounting personnel as directed.
Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
o Has above average skills in problem resolution; planning and process improvements
o Has excellent skills in general ledger accounting; Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) processing and cost accounting
o Demonstrated ability in Microsoft office, the ability to supervise others as well as communicate effectively with various levels of management.
o Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
o Experience in working with others in a team environment
Education and
Experience:
o Degree or equivalent
Experience: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
o Years of
Experience: 3-5 years in an accounting role
o CPA designation preferred
o Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of the job, the employee may be required to stand, sit, stoop, bend knee, lift up to 30 pounds, handle varying degrees of stress

General office environment

EOEEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
