Registered Nurse / RN - Home Healthcare
General Purpose:
Provide services and/or treatments requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill and provides effective and efficient patient care.
We are seeking to fill immediate openings in Sussex County area, especially Lewes, Rehoboth Beach, and Bethany Beach area.
We offer flexible per diem shifts with a competitive pay rate at weekly pay with the option of direct deposit.
Essential Functions:
o Participates with the patient clarifying mutually agreed upon goals and incorporates these goals into the plan of care plan.
o Counsels and educates the patient and family in meeting healthcare and related needs.
o Completes timely and accurate clinical notes including addressing patient's progress.
o Communicates with the physician and other staff of changes in the patient's needs.
o Provides other assignments as requested and within the scope of licensure.
o Able to perform CPR.
o Meets applicable health requirements to provide patient care.
Working Conditions & Physical Effort:
o Able to effectively communicate in English with all levels of the workforce, both clinical and non-clinical.
o Able to read and interpret technical instructions related to the care of the patient.
o Able to effectively deal with multiple changes based on patient needs and scheduling.
o Able to provide proof of valid driver's license, if applicable.
o Able to travel within geographic area serviced by office.
o Work is normally performed in patient's home, schools, or occupational settings.
o Able to constantly travel locally from assignment to assignment.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
o License to practice in the state of Delaware, and a valid CPR card o At least one year's experience working in hospice, hospital, or nursing home setting
