Qualifications: At least (3) years prior administrative experience in a development office, non-profit organization, or similar setting preferred; Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy, ability to work respectfully with people of diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds; must maintain confidentiality in all matters; must support the missions of the Coastal Bend College District and the Coastal Bend College Foundation; Must have flexible schedule.
Function: Provide support to the Executive Director of the CBC Foundation and manage the office; manage meeting and conference room scheduling to include arranging maintenance requests, room set-up, catering, and etc.; coordinate Foundation Board meetings and correspondence with CBC Foundation Directors; Budget monitoring and reporting; Donor and prospect screening, cultivation, and reporting; maintain donors and prospects database; special event planning and execution; coordination of CBC Foundation scholarships; assist with maintenance of Foundation website.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
