ASAP MedStaff is searching for a Certified Medical Assistant to fill a full time travel position. We are looking for a CMA who is skilled, personable, and reliable. The hours vary by location but are all during the day (5:
30a-7p), there are no night or weekend responsibilities. This position can offer 35-40 hours a week. Most of the travel will be to clinics located around Indianapolis; downtown Indianapolis, Fishers, Noblesville, Kokomo, Peru, Logansport, Muncie, Anderson. Other locations include Fort Wayne and Evansville.
Travel Responsibilities
Must have a reliable car (mileage reimbursement is provided)
Must be willing to travel to clinics throughout the state of Indiana
Must be flexible and some one who adapts easily
Occasional shifts may require overnight accommodations (provided)
Job Overview
Obtain patient vitals
Perform blood draws
Interview patients
Enter information through an electronic system
Prepare treatment rooms for patients
Escort patients through facility
Self motivated, positive, and proactive individual
Requirements
Completed a Medical Assistant program
Certified Medical Assistant preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
1-2 years previous experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Knowledge in minor office procedures
Current CPR certification
Phlebotomy and lab specimen processing skills
Proficiency in blood draws is required

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
