Sales Brand Ambassador - Sell Dog Food!

Do you love dogs? Do you have sales and event demoing experience? This may be the perfect gig for you! Flair Events is looking for someone to work in a pet-friendly environment representing a premium line of dog food to customers who really care about their dogs. This is an ongoing independent contractor gig, looking for a person to serve as a brand ambassador starting in April and continuing though the rest of the year.
Events are 4 hours long, on weekends and Fridays after 2 PM. There are a total of three pet store locations of a national chain pet store, one in Lake Forest, one in Foothill Ranch and one in Rancho Santa Margarita. The locations are clustered together and must all be worked by the same person. There are two demos per month at each location, for a total of 6 demos a month. The pay is a flat rate of $60 per demo.
These are sales demos, where you'll be selling premium brand dog food and treats off the shelves. There is a sales goal for the demos. We do provide ongoing training on the product.
The ideal candidate will:
- Love dogs
- Have experience surpassing a sales goal
- Be outgoing and enjoy interacting with people
- Have independent contractor experience
- Be able to pass a background check
- Have a reliable car
- Be physically able to stand on their feet for 4 hours
- Be able to lift up to 30 lbs bags of dog food
- Have reliable internet
- Be able to schedule events up to 2 months in advance
Compensation:
$60 per four hour event.
Employment Type:
Independent Contractor (1099)

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
