Summary
The primary role of the Programmatic Media Planner/Buyer position will be planning, buying, tracking and optimizing programmatic digital media. They must have the ability to manage interactive media campaigns from conception to completion and then be evaluated based on the actual results of those campaigns. This role will report to the AVP Media and work alongside the Digital Display Ad Traffic Coordinator and Digital Media Planners on digital media campaigns.
Responsibilities
Plans and executes programmatic digital media campaigns
Builds campaigns in DMP and DSP platforms including prospecting and retargeting ads rendering on desktop, social, video and mobile websites and applications
Identifies relevant audience segments for campaigns and provides recommendations on value
Works closely with data and CRM teams to target and segment relevant audiences
Actively manages campaigns by optimizing bidding, pacing and performance to ensure KPI delivery
Is or becomes an expert in best practices for 3rd party data providers, DMP and DSP platforms, and manages campaign effectiveness through platform functionality
Works with analytics team to design and execute reporting and testing strategies
Works with traffic coordinator to provide tracking tags and 3rd party ad-serving and campaign verification of viewability and video completes
Understands brand safety on the URL and keyword level, and can identify potential fraud issues via 3rd party verification
Integrates Internet campaigns with overall media and marketing objectives
Provides proactive contribution to clients' business growth by identifying, evaluating and recommending new media opportunities
Provides insight and analysis of relevant digital trends
Provides support to new business efforts by contributing in the collection of information, conducting research, and providing insights when appropriate
Qualifications
Relevant and specific experience and bachelor degree in marketing, advertising or related field
At least 2-4 years of work experience as a Programmatic Media Planner/Buyer
Trading Desk, DSP or DMP experience required
Experience with KRUX DMP, specific DSP(s) and Acxiom/Live Ramp data services preferred
Familiarity with Sizmek third party ad serving and tracking preferred
Can show evidence of having formulated and made recommendations for programmatic digital media strategies and tactics
Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint; Above average Excel skills are required for the position

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
