MATERIALS HANDLER

In addition to the essential job functions described below, all associates will perform duties as requested by management.
Safely transport containers, crates, pallets, and mezzanine carts to designated work areas, as directed by RF commands.
Complete tasks in an efficient manner to provide a steady flow of material to functional areas.
Load or unload product on ship conveyor as required.
Stage pallets and containers in work areas in an orderly manner.
Deliver packaging materials to work areas as needed. Load or unload trailers.
Operate powered industrial equipment according to Raymond Safe Operating Guidelines, Forklift Safety Training, and FEI Safety Policies Select, secure, transport, and store product safely using quality pallets and containers Ensure pedestrian safety by maintaining a safe rate of speed in all areas while operating equipment.
Maintain clearance of equipment to avoid impacts and damage to product or property Coordinate task completion with lead and other associates as needed Inspect and maintain all forklift and RF equipment in functional condition.
Execute tasks utilizing hand-held or truck mounted RF units scanners.
Follow all established SOP procedures for given task areas.
Work closely with supervisor and lead to resolve any task concerns that arise.
Maintain inventory integrity and product safety at all times.
Maintain supplies in an organized manner. Cross-train on alternate assignments and perform duties in other work areas as needed.
Perform routine and assigned housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe work environment.
Communicate with associates and display teamwork in completing task assignments.
Represent the company in a professional manner at all times ensuring quality customer service.
Abide by all company policies, rules, and regulations.
Abide by all company safety rules, regulations, and procedures. Support corporate programs, goals, and initiatives.
Work overtime as needed.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
