Data Analyst
Nature and Scope of the Position:
Under the direction of the Director of Data Engineering and Analytics, the Data Analyst will primarily be responsible for planning, designing, and executing analytic approaches and resulting reports for various stakeholders and staff, interpreting and preparing results and reports for both technical and lay audiences in the healthcare field. This position requires an analytically-oriented person who is comfortable working in a dynamic, multi-faceted, fast-paced setting for which planning, management, data analyses, and interpretation of results are essential.
Main
Responsibilities:
Maintain and support Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence solution
Business Analysis: Requirements gathering, documentation, data acquisition planning
Data management: Quality, auditing, error checking routines
Reporting: Designing data structures and reports
Problem solving: technical and non-technical/operational issues from data source through to application and reporting tiers
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent experience required
Experience:
2
years Healthcare experience
Progressive experience in business analysis, data analysis systems, including 5
years working in a DW/BI environment, 3
years in SQL Server BI Stack
Data modeling, design; ETL routines, stored procedures, triggers
Must be self-motivated, possess the ability to work independently and have strong attention to detail
Must have good communication skills
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
