Delray Beach office seeks estoppel attorney with 4
years of foreclosure litigation/courtroom experience.
The candidate will be responsible for handling contested and uncontested matters for the firm, with emphasis on preparation and review of sales related motions.
Will utilize legal knowledge and experience as necessary to facilitate the foreclosure process on behalf of the clients.
Attend trials and hearings for both contested and uncontested cases.
Taking and defending depositions.
Prepare, review and approve foreclosure sales related pleadings.
Handle all aspects of contested and uncontested matters including Complaints, Motions and Final Judgment review and approval.
Attend mediation, telephonic hearings, in-person hearings and motion calendar.
Assist with other duties and projects as assigned.
Provides exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
Conscientious with respect to work completion, deadlines, time management and attendance.
Takes initiative in face of obstacles and identifies what needs to be done and takes action.
Must have a Bachelor's Degree with a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
Membership of the Florida Bar in good standing, while maintaining all necessary licensing and continuing legal education requirements is required.
Must be well-versed in the rules of evidence, introducing evidence and foreclosure case law.
