IntelliBridge Partners is looking for a Project Coordinator for our client in Lodi, CA. This is a 6 month contract position with a pay rate of $26-$32 an hour. In this position, the Project Coordinator will be under general direction, plans, organizes, and administers various levels of complexity; may lead and coordinate activities of Capital Improvement Program (CIP) project teams; leads and coordinates the work of assigned professional and support staff who are acting as project team members; performs related duties as assigned.
Duties:
o Plans, assigns, and reviews the work of technical and professional team members; participates in the selection of staff for participation on project teams.
o Facilitates project team meetings.
o Prepares a variety of periodic progress and special reports related to projects and activities.
o Confers and negotiates with developers and property owners relative to the acquisition and disposition of property and improvements; may draft contract language and performance specifications.
o Represents the company in meetings with representatives of governmental agencies, professional, business, and community organizations and the public.
o Assists in the preparation of budgets for Capital Improvement Projects.
o Reviews cost estimates, interprets plans and specifications for contractors, and determines contractual compliance.
o Interprets and administers applicable ordinances relating to project requirements.
o Responds personally or in writing to questions or complaints related to project activities or policy.
o Conducts contract bid openings for Public Works projects, including review and approval of bid documentation.
o Performs related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
o BA Degree in engineering, business or public administration, or a closely related field.
o Must have (1) year of project leadership experience in government or engineering-related projects.
o Developing project administration, monitoring, and evaluation techniques; principles, practices, and techniques of project administration, including monitoring and evaluation.
o Administrative principles and practices, including goals and objectives development, work planning, and employee supervision.
o Business and engineering computer use applications.
o Basic budgetary principles and practices.
o Basic supervisory principles and practices;
o Team leadership and facilitation principles and techniques;
o Principles and practices of contract administration and project management and evaluation.
o Applicable codes, regulations, and standards relating to company contract administration.
o Safety practices pertaining to the work; construction materials, methods, and equipment.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
