Registered Nurse - Oncology / IV Infusion
We're currently seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for a full-time (6-8 weeks minimum; possible temp to perm) assignment with our client, a well established, reputable oncology physicians practice in the Leesburg, FL area or The Villiages, FL 32159. Ideal candidates will be local (within 10-15 min drive), and have at least 1 year of recent IV nursing experience in the hospital or oncology setting. Strong IV / infusion skills are the primary requirement for this position. Pay is determined on a case by case basis; the pay is 30/hr. This is an immediate opening, Mon-Fri, days only. Position Qualifications
Ability to work with other personnel and develop/maintain good relations
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of care and current clinical practice, treatments and interventions, specific to position specialty.
Ability to understand and monitor applicable regulations, policies and procedures.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with rules and regulations.
Ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions, and to accept constructive criticism.
Ability to deal tactfully with patients, residents, students, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public, according to position setting.
Ability to maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc.
Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
Demonstrate proficiency in written/verbal skills in English language
Sufficient computer skills required to perform duties.
Certification / Requirements
Min 1 year of recent IV RN experience is Required
Oncology RN experience is Preferred
Local to The Villages with F/T Availability (M-F Days)
Active & Clear RN License by the State of Florida
Current CPR/BLS Certification, Physical & PPD, Clear Background/License
