Assistant Production Manager
Career Connections is looking for an Assistant Production Manager for a local food production company in Athens, Ohio. Will be assisting with the preparation and canning of food products for distribution, as well as helping manage inventory and a warehouse space. Will be assisting with ingredient preparation, helping wash dishes, assisting with scheduling production work, and completing other duties as assigned.
This is a temp-to-direct position starting immediately. The schedule will vary, but one can expect 40 hours/week. Some weekend work is required. The starting pay rate is $9 to $10/hour, with an increase after a probationary period. Vacation time and assistance with health care costs are available.
To qualify for this position, candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs. consistently and be comfortable working in areas with above average temperatures. Must be very dependable, with reliable transportation. Must have good math and reading comprehension skills. Experience in food service or warehouse management is strongly preferred.
