Accounting Clerk
Phenix Research Products is currently recruiting for the position of Accounting Clerk for our Candler, NC office. The goal for this position is to provided accurate and timely processing and reporting of accounting transactions and reports, as well as operational reports, and timely collection of receivables. This position will also be cross-trained on other tasks that are completed by the accounting department.
oAssociate Degree in Business or Accounting preferred, relevant work experience or a combination of both.
oPrevious experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and sales tax.
oWell-developed organizational skills for high volume of transactions daily as well as highly detail oriented.
oProficient in computer skills including Windows, Excel, Word, previous experience with module based ERP system preferred.
oExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to hear and speak distinctly.
oAble to sit for extended periods of time, occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. Some bending and twisting.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
