ProNova Solutions, LLC is aggressively developing the next generation of cancer therapy technology in a highly integrated proton therapy medical device. The fusion of state-of-the-art imaging, superconducting magnet technology, and unprecedented closed loop treatment verification using Positron Emission Tomography sets the ProNova product apart from all others. We are recruiting key technical personnel to participate in the design, fabrication and testing of the proton therapy system and components.

We are currently seeking a Category Manager who will be an experienced team member responsible for successful implementation, administration, and support of the engineering and manufacturing software applications used by ProNova Solutions in the mission to design, manufacture and deliver the next generation of cancer therapy technology.

This position is an indirect manager and will not have any direct reports for 24-36 months.

Duties and
Responsibilities:
Create, negotiate and manage effective statements of work for assigned projects including rigging, capital purchases, development projects, software, maintenance, service and support
Category manager for indirect spend: MRO, service, capital equipment, fixtures, IT, telecom, utilities, hotels, car rental, airline, software, maintenance agreements, licenses and other categories as assigned
Responsible for departmental analytics efforts, including metrics development & reporting, database building and supply chain analysis
Create and Manage Indirect Purchase Orders
Implement Kanban or vendor managed inventory systems for MRO and floor stock items
Obtains competitive quotations and selects suppliers based on quality, cost, lead time, service and financial stability

Qualifications:
Education /
Experience:
BS/BA degree in related field
6-8 years of progressive supply chain experience with at least four years of category or commodity strategy
3-5 years of project/program management experience in a supply chain, product development, or manufacturing environment with an understanding of Strategic Sourcing, Materials Management, and Logistics.
Working knowledge of Advanced Supply Chain Planning, JIT, VMI and other advanced materials management concepts desired
Experience with SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics GP
CPSM or CPIM certification desired
Project Management Certification desired
Green Belt certification desired
Skills:
Must be self-motivated, organized, and able to adapt quickly to changing project demands with the ability to work independently with minimal oversight
High level of analytical ability required to develop and maintain project plans while balancing workloads for a large number of projects
Strong communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills required to interact with all levels of management, teams and suppliers
Excellent negotiation and cost management skills a must
Proven ability to lead, influence, and motivate team members in a highly matrixed and cross functional environment
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail required
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple duties and projects
Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Access, Project, PowerPoint)
Working knowledge of Access and database building desired
Strong ability to drive and execute change
Willingness to accept new responsibilities
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
