Two location practice seeking dynamic, personable, responsible, detail oriented, experienced optician with ability to deliver exceptional customer service. Job duties require excellence in sales and will include dispensing-providing precise adjustments of frames and repair of glasses. Experience with visual field testing, contact lens training, patient scheduling, and must be knowledgeable of insurance plans and utilization of computers. Knowledgeable about Electric Health Records a plus.
Job Description:
Greet patients in a professional, friendly manner in the location or over the phone.
Show and recommend frames and lenses, explain product features and benefits to patients.
Dispensing eyeglasses and contact lenses to patients.
Visual field testing, contact lens training, patient scheduling as needed
Create and maintain a positive, clean and professional environment.
Computer knowledgeable, Social Media
Requirements:
Prior optical sales experience.
Ability to present and sell eyeglass features and specialty lenses.
Knowledge of Insurance Plans
Knowledge of computer programs and features
Ability to learn optical knowledge.
Effective interpersonal and customer service skills
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
