Sales Consultant, Salem and Framingham
Landry & Arcari, Winner of Boston magazine's Best of Boston Home Award for Best Rug Store, every year since 2006, is seeking Sales Consultants for our Salem and Framingham locations. Known for our dedication to providing an exceptional customer service experience, we are family-owned and operated since 1938.
The Sales Consultant is responsible for servicing every aspect of the client account from the very first contact to the final installation and completion of the project. They will sell oriental rugs, broadloom carpeting and related services to consumers and the design community in our showroom and in the client's home, providing our client's with exceptional customer service.
In addition, the Sales Consultant will work towards developing new business and fostering long-lasting client relationships with interior designers. They will also contribute to the showroom's merchandising and overall appearance, ensuring that product presentation is of the highest standards at all times.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, with exceptional people and organizational skills, a personal interest in home furnishings and design coupled with sales experience in a luxury market based industry. We promote a friendly and knowledgeable customer centric sales approach with an emphasis on working as a team with fellow sales associates to ensure that all clients experience exceptional service.
In addition, this position requires strong skills in MS Office and the ability to quickly learn our two industry standard inventory and point of sale computer systems.
This is a full-time position and includes weekends, which are our busiest selling days. We offer competitive compensation consisting of a base salary plus commission, in addition to a generous benefits package.
