User Experience Designer
Description of position:
The User Experience Designer is responsible for designing the user experience for new products and enhancements. This is a customer advocate role within project teams ensuring that products are useful, usable, and desirable via a thorough understanding and practice of the user centered design process. Work with marketing, product strategy, project management, product management, product development and users to design innovative, industry leading products. Completes all steps in the product design process from conceptualization, detailed user interface, functional design, through implementation and usability review.
Accountabilities:
oDevelop innovative user interface designs in response to marketing requirements, user analyses, product innovation, technology, and business needs.
oDevelop conceptual models, personas, workflows, design prototypes, and user interface specifications.
oAssist product management in authoring user requirements documents.
oEnsure user interface guidelines and standards are followed during the development and maintenance of the product.
oPresent design concepts and negotiates with stakeholders to arrive at a design that support both the business and a strong user experience.
oConduct and/or participate in product usability tests.
oCommunicate and work effectively with cross-functional team members including but not limited to sales, marketing, product managers, project managers and software engineers.
Qualifications:
o 3-5 years' experience in a commercial software product company.
o BA/BS or advanced degree preferred in Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, Industrial Design, Cognitive Psychology, or a related field or demonstrated comparable experience designing commercial software products.
o Mastery of user centered design principles and practices.
o Mastery of interaction design and information architecture disciplines
o Experience in creating wireframes, visual mockups, graphics, and user workflows.
o Innovative, creative problem solver with an eye for detail and accuracy.
o Knowledge of software development process.
o Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and listening).
o Excellent organization skills with proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and to adjust to frequent changes in project priorities.
o Proficiency with Axure RP, Balsamiq, or Visio, Adobe Creative Suite a bonus,.
o Proficiency in visual design preferred.
o Preferred familiarity with CSS, HTML, and JavaScript.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
