Re-Pack Supervisor
JOB TITLE: Re-Pack Supervisor
REPORTS TO: Warehouse Manager
HOURS: Sun-Thurs. 12pm-UNTIL
PURPOSE: Supervise the stocking and the order fill process of individual items from broken case goods, seeing that production and quality standards are maintained.
MAIN ACTIVITIES:
Assign, monitor and direct personnel in the stocking and selection of individual items from broken case goods to fill customer orders.
Train, advise, counsel and discipline assigned personnel, conduct progress reviews, assure compliance with policies and establish production standards.
Plan use of manpower daily, assign duties and provide assistance in carrying out duties.
Maintain productivity records and see that totes are stored at the proper dock.
Maintain work area in a neat and orderly manner.
Ensure proper procedures are followed and enforce company policies.
Sign-off on all line-out credits.
Enforce all safety regulations OSHA and company.
Protect company property from theft, pilferage, and damage.
Set standards of job performance for employees in production and quality of work.
Complete any required paperwork in the time framework set forth.
Actively observe the policies and procedure of the operation to improve its overall efficiency.
See that all department jobs are completed in the time frame allowed.
Openly communicate and work with other departments in providing our customers the best possible service.
Monitor and control security of product and facility.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment at all times.
Oversee the consistent and proper use of the Warehouse Management System.
Perform these and any other duties as directed in a safe and orderly manner.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent. Must have computer skills such as Microsoft Word and excel, good organization and communication skills, AS400 knowledge and three to five years of supervisory experience. Multi-tasking and self-discipline are a huge part of this job.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Walking up and down stairs
Lifting load up to 50-60 lbs.
Push/Pull effort occasionally up to 650 lbs. or move with use of mobile equipment
Reaching above shoulders and below waist
Standing/Walking for 8 hours or longer
Bending at waist and twisting of body
SquattingEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
