THIS IS A BARGAINING UNIT POSITION.
The Physical Therapist is assigned to the Rehabilitation Care Service Line, VA Puget Sound Health Care System, Port Angeles Community Based Outpatient Clinic, Port Angeles, WA.
The primary function of the outpatient Physical Therapist is direct patient care.
The incumbent provides expertise and training to the Physical Therapy staff regarding patients with complex medical needs or orthopedic or musculoskeletal rehabilitation needs, and is able to apply this expertise to the geriatric population.
Goals of treatment are:
to evaluate physical functioningrecommend appropriate placement or discharge plansrestore and enhance performance and potential for independent livingmaximize function within the lifestyle of the patientand aid in the adjustment and understanding of disability Other duties as assigned.
Tour of Duty:
Monday through Friday, day shift, rotating weekends.
Compressed 4-10 schedule may be considered.

Department of Veterans Affairs employees will receive first consideration.
Student Loan Repayment Program (SLRP) may be authorized, subject to availability of funding.
Recruitment/Relocation Incentive may be authorized.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
